Hello 

I have intalled livelink 9.7.1 on a new VM, installed oracle 11g as the db. 

I have office 2010, windows 2003 server 2003 SP2. 

All i found from the other posts is that the there could be conflicts with other programs. 

I have no other programs installed as This is a fresh VM 
Any clues on what could be causing this error ?

The directory you’ve pointed your index engine at already has a partially-created index in it.

Although the engine believes it needs to create a brand new index, it fails attempting to do so because the accumulator file is still there.

Do not just delete the accumLog.0 file.  The structure of an index is encapsulated in more than just one file.

 

I strongly recommend deleting your Enterprise Data Source Folder, cleaning out your C:\OPENTEXT\index\enterprise directory completely, then recreating the Enterprise Data Source Folder.

 

You may also want to consider not storing your index underneath your install directory given the potential size of the index and its effect on the performance of sysreport generation.
