"Got to know we need to modify the DTree table in content server."

Look at the WCF examples posted on top of this forum. In livelink you will NEVER manipulate the Database by any

tool.In livelink Nodes can be moved ,their metadata including records management metadata can be manipulated

by webservices. Each optional package like RM publishes its API's in the same place as the core DMS web services

If you have never programmed in livelink before please peruse the samples and you will get productive in no time.

1 Use Share Point, 2 Use Web Report, 3 Use Spread sheet

Thanks for the information,

i have gone through the APIs

com.opentext.livelink.service.collaboration
com.opentext.livelink.service.core
com.opentext.livelink.service.docman
com.opentext.livelink.service.memberservice
com.opentext.livelink.service.searchservices
com.opentext.livelink.service.workflowservice

but i am unable to find the exact API and the method which suits my requirement. It'll be great if you could help me to find this.

RM API if RM module is intalled has to be exposed its WSDL,similarly PO.Similarly classifications Usually in a org it is the livelink admin's job to do that

Not every company buy livelink with these 3 optional modules hence they are separate and given out as documentation

I recently tried my hands at JAX-WS for a user who was confused on this aspcet so if you care you can take a look
