Report from XML DTD object

Hi,

I'm searching the best way from an LR to result the content from an DTD XML (335).

actually we have lot of xsl version inside the DTD XML object contain directory path of the installation.

From our migration to CS10the install path have changed. All my DTD XML files are corrupt.

I have the start of my SQL from the dtree : select * from dtree where subtype = 335

I don't know that you can dump the contents of an object via LR, unless the contents are in the Extended area as text. If it's a separate object, you can't do it (that my meager knowledge tells me).

If it is there, then Regular Expression will likely be necessary.

not sure what is being asked here.

To find any thing that has a version shown for a simple document subtype=144

select * from providerdata where providerid in(select providerid from dversdata where docid=12345)

12345 could be the sample dataid of one of the things in your query

Now that would give you the file location if it was stored on EFS

If you copy it off and rename to the right mimetype it should show content

Perhaps you can adopt that.

I am not familiar with xml dtd's but I know many kinds of search based things are possible with this so you may get better answers at the
search and indexing forum as well

I’m not sure my question was correct. I have similar report who permit to access to value inside object like group.

See my SQL :

select name, userdata from kuaf where userdata like NVL('%%' || %1 || '%%','%%') and type = 1 with sql I can show ldap parameter inside SQL.

Now I would like same sql for XML DTD object if it’s possible….

My object XML DTD id XXXXX contain 2 versions in each version of this object each file has some value in the file (file located on server) :

<![if !supportLists]>1. <![endif]>Path of install and the file on the server from 9.7 (ex : E:\Opentext\support\file.xsl)

<![if !supportLists]>2. <![endif]>Path of new install and the file on the server from 10 (ex : E:\ Opentext\CS\support\file.xsl)

Does it possible to read content of object inside SQL.

not really you are getting the KUAF info correctly because it is contained in that column.For versioned objects(things in dtree) livelink offers to the customer three ways to store content.One is that nowadays nobody uses which is store them in a SQL column.We call it internal.Perhaps with this option and the right relations you could read it via SQL that is if you know how to convert a clob or blob for reading.

Most people would either put content in a EFS or ArchiveServer.Those content is read by either using oscript,lapi or webservices.A expensive tool kit called webreports can use sql as a data source and do some reading as well.According to OT many of the webreports things that people may want may actually be in core as of 10.5

Please note that WebReports will be part of core CS 10.5 so that OpenText product teams can leverage the technology in products like Records Management. Customers will still need to purchase and install a license key as usual in order to be able to create their own customizations, reports, dashboards etc.
