IIS HttpContentHandler mapping

Hi

Unfortunately Powershell does not support MTOM no-way, no-how and so I'm stuck using the HttpContentHandler.ashx method but when I use it I get an IIS Internal Server error and nothing shows up in CS logs, I'm assuming there is some missing steps in IIS 7.5 but I can't seem to find the appropriate documentation.

 

Can somebody share the details to setup IIS or point me to the right place in the documentation?

I determined that my problem was an inability to see the error messages that HTTPContentHandler.ashx was providing, I'm not sure why the details weren't making it to powershell and they were only visible on the console of the server (I was remote). In any case, further investigation found that I had an encoding error that was confusing the handler, when I used "UTF8" encoding the handler returns an exception, reading / writing as raw bytes solved that problem.

So I have powershell bulk file loader that works with a CS 10.0 instance and, I suspect, with most other CS versions as well however when I tried to use it on a CS 10.5 Beta 4 site then I get a status 404 file not found for HTTPContentHandler.ashx. The file is there apparently but the web server (IIS 8) doesn't seem to understand that. I'm a tad baffled at that, anybody have some thoughts?
