PDF rendition - Time taken by Adlib to return rendered pdf

Hello,

When I am sending a transmittal while converting the coversheet to pdf it usually takes about 10 mins for the complete process. However the pdf generation doesn't take much time, the time taken is when the document is to be sent back to Content Server.

What could be the possible issue or what can be done to speed up the process.

Please help.

the download and upload to and from adlb is acheived using agents in livelink.In many companies they run agents as a serial process ascending so if there are agents 9000,9001,9002 then the higher agent is that much slowed by the other.So if you do find the agents responsible for transmittal s,you can put them in a separate thread and not waiting for all others to slow it down. If you do find the information relevant and do not know how to change an agent to run on its own thread check a few documents regarding the same by "Ryan Long"
