Problem using Datepickers

Hello forum,

we are facing some problems using datepickers in a page wich is incapsulated in Content Server 10.0 user interface

We have the error “TypeError: $.ui.navigate is undefined” clicking in the involved input text

I looked at that the Content Server 10.0 use jquery 1.3.2 and jquery ui 1.7.2 while I am trying to use jquery-1.9.1 and jqueryUI 1.10.3

A couple of questions for you:

·        Is there a workaround to allow the use of jqueryUI 1.10.3 components in a piece of HTML which is incapsulated in Content Server 10.0?

·        In your knowledge, does datepicker exist in  jqueryUI 1.7.2?

jQuery UI 1.7.2 included the datepicker, but the custom build used on the CS10 was not complete and didn't include it.

Apparently you want to mix your UI with the CS UI on a single page.  If you build you own page, you can avoid loading the CS10 scripts and include just yours - no-work solution.  If you still want to include your own jQuery and jQuery UI, you can do it like this:

<!-- load your scripts --><script src="your jquery"><script src="your jquery ui"><script>  var my$ = $.noConflict(true);</script><!-- let the CS scripts load --><script src="cs jquery"><script src="cs jquery ui"><script>  // use your my$ for your stuff  function ($) {    $(function () {      $(...    });  }( my$ );</script>

You can include the scripts the other way around, you'd backup and restore the global jQuery and $ variables on your own, so that the CS10 version would stay global.  You might have trouble with the jQuery UI CSS.  If the CS10 theme works well for you, you're lucky.  If it doesn't, you can use a class prefix (CSS scope) when you download your theme from the Themeroller.
