Hi All,

I got an requirement to create an agent in the module which could run script after specific interval.

I searched in the builder documentation but couldn't find anything.

could any one please suggest where can I get material over the same.

Builder documentation does not have agent code but it available in KC. Here is a brief how you can achieve it.

1.Orphan the node LLAgent:Agent node in your custom module

2.Create a child node and give it a name (say myFirstAgent)

3.Give it a Id. Override the fAgentID (This id goes into your agentschedule table and should be a value above 9999)

4.Enable it my setting fEnabled to true

5.And put the code that you want to run in the Execute method.

for configuration page to set your agent time interval

1. Orphan WebAgent --> WebAgent Objects --> ScheduleActivitiesConfig and give it a name

2. Set fEnabled = true

3. Set fAgentId = set id which you used to create your agent..

4. Set fName = Give a name you want to show as header for your agent under

Admin page --> Notification configuration -->Configure Scheduled Activities

5. Build your ospace, save and restart it

Configure you agent under Admin page --> Notification configuration -->Configure Scheduled Activities.

If you want very simple, such as come alive every 5 minutes then it would be simpler to orphan off

$LLAgent::LLAgent Objects::PingerHandlers

Set fEnabled = TRUE

Set fPingerID = {some integer value}

Set fOnlyAtMidnight = FALSE // Unless you want it to only run at midnight of course.

Override the Execute with your code.

This has no scheduling involved and allows for repetitive execution.

It really depends on the requirements.
