Customised System Report

I want to make system report to run in sheduled way.

Any help, how we can do this by using request handlers.

Hi Pradeep,

David Templeton, a revered person at OT told you the futility of such a exercise.If you are still unconvinced download Notepad++ and have a plugin called compare installed.

Now execute admin.sysreport in a 2 hr interval.Check out if any info has changed.Basically you need 2 sys reports and a compare tool.You will see that about 90 % of the info does not change in an installation over time.Counts of nodes change as people use things change in the system.A Sys Report is not the right tool to gauge system growth over time.It has debug info that helps OT developers understand your system.In many large installs sys reports run very slowly and many times do not even complete.A sysreport is not to be confused as a self diagnostic tool.

If you are an oscripter if you trace the call,you can convert any part of the code into however you want that code to execute.If you do find any particular section in the sys report that you want running as a schedule post we will help.

As I said before this can add considerable load on the system ( hours and days for larger systems ) . For the most part most of the data will not change on a day to day basis. The items that would change are the counts in the tables. If you need those then I would advise creating livereports to get such information from the system and not perform count(*).

As in so many cases, what information is really needed?

If you are determined to use the system report then maybe some kind of webpage automation plugin?
