update workflow step due dates using event script

Hi,

 

In our workflow we have dynamic step due dates for every steps.Is it possible to set the due date using event scripts/oscript??

When the user will initiate the workflow, he will set all the dates for every step.

Hi Dhaval,

You can certainly use custom code to do it. There is a better option, you can use product called WorkflowPlus from Supai Systems which enables to set due date using form fields, workflow attributes and you can also set offset(any integer value) to it. Workflow due date, step due date can be changed any time in the course of workflow execution. It provides many more features without writing a single line of OScript code. Some of the features are listed below:

1. Renaming workflow or step

2. Updating form data or workflow attributes

3. Sending email notification

4. Reminder emails

5. User group membership manipulation

6. Database manipulation and reporting during workflow execution

7. Manipulating permissions on objects

8. Off course setting due date using form field/ workflow attributes during workflow execution
