Error on GetAdminSession call

I have a module that I am moving from 9.7.1 to CS 10 and am getting an error with the call: Object prgCtx = $PallasExtWorkFlow.Util.getAdminSession. The error says it is an unknown feature.

This is the first and only module that we have from Livelink. Any one that can assist would be greatly appreciated.

This code looks like it is dependent on a third party module $PallasExtWorkFlow. So there is little we can advise on the existence of this function.

How are you moving this? Xmlwfextns is a

OT product did you get the right CS10 version?

You are not supposed to recompile

OT mods If you are running into issues

You would need to work with OT support

I assume that you are CS 10.0 and not 10.5.

You have to find out if where it goes wrong. This can be best done with the inspector in the builder. The inspector is in the Tools menu.

Just enter the following 3 strings and see where it breaks:

$PallasExtWorkFlow

$PallasExtWorkFlow.Util

$PallasExtWorkFlow.Util.getAdminSession

This is actually the Ospace for XML Workflow Extensions module. The Ospace was renamed in CS10, so references to this Ospace will need to be updated

What Richard may be suggesting is that they have a custom module that calls into XML Workflow Extensions code.

@Richard: PALLASEXTWORKFLOW used to be the name of the Ospace for XML Workflow Extensions in older versions. This has since changed, which would explain why calls to $PallasExtWorkflow would also fail.

The correct Syntax is below:
Object prgCtx = $XMLWFEXTENSIONS.Util.getAdminSession()

Just confirmed on my TEST system with Content Server 10 + Update 12 and XML WF Extensions 10.1.0.
