Hi guys,

We are trying to find the way of list all documents with their categories and its attributes by means a query in SQL under a determinated folder.

Anyone have experience in this type of queries.

That can be done. There's the LLATTRDATA table. Try this Oracle LR to start with.

Hi Obed,

Focus your attention on the LLAttrData and the DTreeAncestors table.

The LLAttrData table will give you the category/attribute information for nodes in the system.

The DTreeAncestors table will assist you with determining whether or not the node is under a specific folder or not in the hierarchy.

The correct way is to create a "view" to flatten the category data.You would most certainly find a lot of queries that are written with llattrdata aliased many times over one for each row you are trying to get.Some users like to create database functions that flatten the data.The OT BI product shows you ways how they flatten data

With CS10 you can use facets to display what you need where not sure what the intent is.

As I said Livelink has been in the market for 20 years and basically the llattrdata mining has not changed that well and so plenty of queries exist in this discussion forum.Check the KB and champion tool kit as well.I like the view method because it is easy for me to understand and technically does not add complexity.

Lindsay Davies a very great respected OT programmer frequently posts queries /or suggests improvements so if you are new you could try searching on that name as well.
