Workflow emails comments

Hi

I am using elink to initiate workflow. in the email I am using Chinese comments. but it is stored in the databasse as junk characters. It should store as Chinese characters in teh database. Please suggest a solution for this.

Chinese Langpack is already installed for eLink/Workflow Forms.
