Report to get reserved items in a folder

Hi, I am trying to get a report to give a list of documents which are reserved by users in a folder. i guess i need to write a recursive query to get the list from folder and it's sub-folder items.

to start up, i need to use Dtree table to pull my required report. Any one can give clue to get this report?

Hi Dhana. The DTreeAncestors table can be used to find subitems. You can use it like this to fulfill your requirement:

select * from DTree where DTree.SubType=144 AND DTree.ReservedBy != 0 AND DTree.DataID IN (SELECT DataID from DTreeAncestors where AncestorID = 12345 )

You'll need to replace the 12345 with the DataID of your parent folder.

To break it down:

DTree.SubType=144 - this limits your results to documents;
DTree.ReservedBy != 0 - this limits your results to items that are reserved; and
DTree.DataID IN (SELECT DataID from DTreeAncestors where AncestorID = 12345 ) - this limits your results to items below DataID 12345 (including sub-items).
