Format of poFromDate in Physical Object

I'm creating physical objects via web services, and all the properties I want to populate are working fine except for From Date and To Date.

According to the API documentation these should be passed as strings, but I seem to have tried every permutation of date format I can think of without luck - they still remain empty. Has anyone else figured this one out?

OK I solved this one. Ignore the documentation - the dates need to be passed as dates.

Are you creating Physical Item boxes? I am having so many issues creating a box I was wondering if you can post some sample code that you used and had success.

My issue is when I create it gives an error of the node type is not supported? And what version of CS and patch level are you using?

An update for an update. Physical Objects 10.2.0 requires update 01 for it work properly when creating any time of PO from web services. This was not really clear but what happens is that since there is no CreatePO function you must use the CreateNode and pass the appropriate type being one of:

PhysicalItem

PhysicalItemBox

PhysicalItemContainer

The CreateNode fails because it doesn't recognize the passed in type from DocumentManagementService (i.e. it doesn't appear to be registered or registration for the above types has failed). Applying Update 1 remedies this problem.
