Virtual Folders API

We have a solution we've deployed in CS10 update 5 that makes use of virtual folders to create linkings between sets of folders. We have an integration with another system that is creating these sets of folders corresponding to transactions in the source system and this has been very popular with the users. The one shortcoming is that we're unable to automate the creation of the virtual folders so users end up having to do that themselves. Is anyone aware of an API for virtual folders in later version of CS10 or CS10.5?

This can be accomplished within the Oscript layer (we've seen it done through engagements) but I'm not aware of this functionality being available (or planned) for Content Web Services. A conversation with OpenText Customer Support on this will allow us to capture your requirements in a formal feature request.

We have a similar requirement where a virtual folder contains shortlinks for different folders and this virtual folder should appear in the search.
