Integrate LiveLink with an application

Hi,

I am trying to integration LiveLink with an application which is already integrated with Documentum and SharePoint. While integrating with SharePoint, Axis2 has been used to create Stubs for each of the WSDL files to create a jar bundle which is then used for the integration.

My question is whether I can use the same SharePoint approach to integrate with LiveLink. If yes, a sample code for Authentication and listing the documents/folders would be helpful. If no, please advise which is the alternate [best] approach for integration.

As part of Integration, we also need to identify few attributes which are applicable for every folder/document in Livelink. For example, GUID and LISTID is unique for every document/folder in SharePoint. What are the corresponding attributes in LiveLink

I am using Content Server 10.0.0 Plus Service Pack 2 Update 11

Hi Rajaram,

I'm not sure if the appoach is the same as Sharepoint but there is the war or svc sources provided in the webservice folder after installation for  java/c implementation. i do jar the files after wsimport them from the wsdl and put that jar file in my application. 

 

A sample of the codes can be found in the documentation provided which at https://knowledge.opentext.com/knowledge/llisapi.dll?func=ll&objId=18047148&objAction=browse&viewType=1. The API is also there which you would be able to obtain document releated information from the documentManagement object.
