Adding Item Comments (Pulse/SocialFeed) via WebServices

Does anyone have experience/feedback/samples for adding comments to an item programmatically using a web service provided by the Pulse module...?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi Mark,

I could be wrong but if I remember right, the WebServices exposed by the Pulse module are thought exclusively to be used with Tempo Social. When I come across a requirement similar to yours, I had to extend the WebServices in order to call the code that handles the socialfeeds. An advice: If you are going to follow this path I suggest you to have a look both to the 10.0 and 10.5 webservices' guide, the way you create your own webservice is slightly different in the two version, and knowing that differences in advance will save you some work whenever you are going to move on 10.5
