"Facet table could not be updated" error while using upload doc and category update

Hi ,

I have created a web service in which I am uploading documents and updating there category values using csv file .

When I am uploading the documents I am getting "Facet table could not be updated" error . Please advice on this .

If the facet functionality is not used the web services works just fine .

Hi Arpit,

 

Doesn't sound like a CWS specific issue, but instead an issue with facets.

 

You would need to do some debugging and collect some thread/connect logs here to investigate further.  When reproducing the issue, make sure to set the following values in your opentext.ini file:

 

[general]

debug=2

 

[options]

wantLogs=TRUE

wantLAPILogs=TRUE

 

Also, I find it a little easier to read through the logs if you set Content Server to only run 1 thread.  You can do this by setting these values in the opentext.ini:

 

[llserver]

min=1

max=1

 

Once doing this you can attach your thread1.out and connect1.log for us to take a look at.
