Error uploading around 2GB file

Hi,

I'm trying to upload 2 GB file, but I get this error:

Dispatched service DocumentManagement threw exception DocMan.NodeCreationError : Error adding version to 'FiileName'. Error reading data stream from version. [E682033159].

It works fine with normal regular file size. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Hello, I'm having the same problem with files larger than 4 megas.

Also check if 'FiileName' is well written. Maybe the the problem is in the double 'i'.

We are having problems with the default configuration for uploading files larger than 4 Megas.

How could you overpass this problem ? We have made many test around the configuration parameters, but nothing seems to work.

Could you let me see your config files ? We must upload files not larger than 400 Megas.

We are getting same error while trying to upload files more than 2 MB using createDocument() method via SOAP requests in CS 10.5. We extended the max size limits in web.config for CWS services but no help. Are you able to fix this issue, any insight to solve this issue would be really helpful!

If you upgraded from ISS6 to IIS7, you should set both maxRequestLength and maxAllowedContentLength according to your requirements. You can crank them up to 2 GB.

The original subject mentions the 2 GB limit. You will not be able to exceed it using tjhe OOTB ASP.NET implementation of the CWS. It is a limitation which can be passed only by a custom IIS handler implementation. Uploading files bigger than 1 GB is rarely needed and if needed routinely, it may need to be solved by other means than the standard document upload feature.
