Unable to connect to enterprise library service

Hi All ,

We have installed enterprise library service, archive server, content server all in one server .

I am trying to connect to Enterprise Library Service to create a new application& getting error Invaild user name & password.

Could you please let me know what needs to be done so that I can login to Enterprise Library Service.Am i suppose to do any configuration in the archive server or content server end.

Which version is this?

If it’s 10.5, you’re probably still need to connect Content Server to OTDS, see chapterhttps://knowledge.opentext.com/knowledge/piroot/el/v100500/el-igd/en/html/configcsforel.htm.

Please don’t forget to followhttps://knowledge.opentext.com/knowledge/piroot/el/v100500/el-igd/en/html/configcsforelresourcepart1a.htm.

Please do also have a look into ot-elib.log file.

If it’s 10.2 please have a look at rcs.log file.

The Version is 10.5.0.

We haven't installed OTDS We have installed Archive server,Enterprise library services and content server .

I looked into the file which you mentioned the configuration for enterprise library services is done w.r.t otds i need to know how to do it without otds I have attached the the error file .

Could you please let me know what needs to be done so that I can login to Enterprise Library Service.

I’m afraid OTDS is mandatory component. Please install it from the Mastersetup, following the instructions fromhttps://knowledge.opentext.com/knowledge/piroot/el/v100500/el-igd/en/html/aio-instotds.htm.

You need to connect CS to OTDS (https://knowledge.opentext.com/knowledge/piroot/el/v100500/el-igd/en/html/configcsforel.htm)

And you need to connect AS to OTDS (https://knowledge.opentext.com/knowledge/piroot/el/v100500/el-igd/en/html/configasotds.htm)

And you need to connect AS to CS (https://knowledge.opentext.com/knowledge/piroot/el/v100500/el-igd/en/html/configcsforelresourcepart1a.htm).

Then you can connect EL usingotadmin@otds.admin user.

Please note those linked instructions are valid for version 10.5 incl.EL Update 2014.1 (https://knowledge.opentext.com/knowledge/llisapi.dll?func=ll&objId=47406874&objAction=browse).

I see from your log file, that you haven’t installed this update yet. Please do also follow the documentation in this directory.

Please also note, after installing EL Update 2014.1 you also need to install the Content Server 10.5 Update 2014.03.
