Merging cws web.config files

What is the best way to deploy module web services, specifically classifications, physical objects and records management.

When reading through the KB there were some references to documents that described merging the web.config file and copying the binaries but I have not been able to locate them.

Is merging the web.config files the way to go?

in our organization instead of creating three different applications under IIS for dm,rm,po I deploy the main les-services or cws as the case maybe,then i physically move the compiled dll's and by trial and error make up a Web.Config.I have not noticed any problem with this and been running like that for more than 5 yrs.the only advantage it buys us is we just host it under a single IIS application.Try creating a app and see how far you get if you get stuck I can help.

Exactly what I wanted to do although I was hoping to find an already merged web.config
