Web Services Configuration File Location

It has been a little while since I dug into web services, so this is probably a really simple question and I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction quickly...

Where is the configuration file for webservices located?  We have two servers in a non-prod environment which have webservices enabled.  A user has reported that their application works when using one service URL but not the other.

We just recently moved this envrionment from one databas to another and the db connection info changed.  I have a gut feeling that only one of the two WS config files has the updated connection info.

I'd like to know the location of the config file so that I can compare the two.  Thanks Kindly in advance!

In 971 /10 the default path to build IIS if your org uses IIS will be

<OTHOME> where the home of your livelink is

<OTHOME>\webservices\dotnet\les-services  //this path has been renamed in CS10.5 as cws  and les-services also exists

Inside there you will see a Web.Config that says localhost & 2099

The best way is to right click the NON working application and see which path it refers to and hunt down from there.

 

Note=For a WSDL to work all it requires is the files in that les-services directory and a working livelink server usually most orgs leave a working livelink server on the

Same machine where the wsapi application resides
