Issue in Content Server 10.5 Could not close a version stream

Dear All,

I have content server 10.5 installed in my demo environment.

Whenever I add an text document, it gives an error.

The message is "Content Server Error: Adding New Item". [Could not close a version stream].

Anybody has come across this issue..?? Could you please suggest me any advise in this case..

How are you adding this Do you use the 'Add Item' and pick "Text Document" or do you pick a text document that is in your computer and add?

Old livelink's use a java applet for the "Text Editor" and as of 10 and up that is done by newer techniques hence the qn.

Can you definitely add documents in the system.I just tried it on my 10.5 and it showed with a very fancy WYSIWYG editor kind and I was impressed

I wonder how one could debug livelink  if Fiddler, Wireshark and Softerra LDAP browser was not invented and not free
