managing facets in left navigation

Hello experts,

I have created a facet and added it to default facet tree and even checked the appear in side bar option but still it ain't showing in the sidebar , kindly suggest whay should be done?

'Facet tree availability' option has to be set under 'Properties-->availabilty' of a facet tree. By default its value is "Never displayed". Based on your requirement it can be changed to " Display in all facet sidebars" or " Only display in specific locations"
