Is it possible for user input in Live Report to be selected from a databse table values as we do in text table lookup attributes?
Hi Udit,
This is not possible with standard LiveReports.
Out of the box, you could achieve this by having a first report present the user with the list from that database table and then using a ClickThru report pass the information as a parameter into the main LiveReport.

Lindsay,
Do you know what is the best way to have report output exporterd to an excel? The users would like to download to their desktop and do some formatting or forward to other users. I don;t see a way to do this using LiveReports and WebReports also just seem to have an option of csv and not xls
Thanks,
Udit Sud
You can create an Excel format document using WebReports. There is a built-in template called spreadsheetml_report to get you started. You can also set the destination to Desktop so the user will be prompted to download the output when the report is finished.
If you have any problems getting this to work you can post in the WebReports forum for more info.
Regards Ian

Thanks. I'll try the WebReport advice since the selection thing will not go too well with the users
