Set Multi Select value to Undefined

Hello -

Using webservices, I need to reset an attribute value for a multi-select field back to "<None>" (or Not Set).  Im using C# and if I use null, the attribute value is not longer editiable via the UI.  I assume there is a function or constant to set this correctly, but I cannot find it.  Any help is appreciated.
