live report cannot show sub report ( unless report format is auto livereport)

Hi all,I been trying to use a "live report" report format with sub report but notice that the sub report does not show in the report. I need it to be in the live report format as the user want to access the document from the report itself. I notice this was a reported bug for the earlier versions of livelink but it seems that in cs 10.5 its still occuring. Is there anyway around this without using web reports?

Hi,

Were you given an issue number for this? I don't see one raised against it. I think this is probably by design as the LiveReport format has a mostly fixed output.

If you weren't given a reference I'd advise logging a feature request via support.

I don't know of a way to do this without either having WebReports or by doing a customisation.

This has been submitted to development as feature request # LPAD-41669. The description for the feature request mentions "In a LiveReport with a subreport, the 'DETAILS' action will not display if report format is set to 'LiveReport' ..."
