TCP socket peak out issue with LAPI

Our product, Accounts Payable for Oracle, uses LAPI to connect to CS10. Lately it has been observed that too many tcp sockets have been created and not been released causing a system hangout and eventually CS needs to be restarted to free all the sockets.

Is there a way to free sockets from the code used to invoke LAPI services.

Hi, we had the same issue a while back and found this article useful. Concentrate on the more information section, and follow the links to the MS articles where it shows how to adjust the maximum number of ports and the delay before dropping them.
