CWS or CMIS services

Hi Everyone,

Could you please share information around the preference for adopting between CWS & CMIS web services.

We have upload, retrieve & update operation to use in content server based on the custom categories & attributes.

Please let us know which web services to be preferable between CWS & CMIS. Are there any limitation in CMIS services as there is not much documentation around it for content server?

If I recall correctly, CMIS does not support category attributes; but you can certainly create, upload and retrieve document using it. I would prefer CWS If you have to use categories.

our CMIS interface doesn’t provide access to Content Server Cats&Atts.
