Legal conditions of using LAPI with Content Server 10.x

Hello,

Whate are legal conditions of using LAPI with Content Server 10.x (by now we have particulary 10.0 but planning to upgrade to 10.5)? There are some functionality in LAPI (such as LAPI_WEBREPORTS class) that Content webservices lacks. But as I see LAPI libraries and documentation are not available in knowledge center "Content Server SDK" downloads section. Does this indicates LAPI is no more supported?

LAPI is a set of client libraries and server side written in oscript which means that whatever code is in that server side if you send commands it will respond. There is no client side installer in versions 10 and 10.5 so if you write a piece of program in lapi client side with an older version after battling thru 32 bit vs 64 bit (problems that stem from that VJ++ stuff ) problems you will succeed.

Increasingly the KB users have moved over to livelink's web services so very few people in this forum would respond to any queries you may have.AFAIK a lot of code that existed in lapi has been ported to EWS/CWS.Most Live report code is also available in EWS.

I used to be very active in LAPI and used to help others but nowadays don't have the time but sometimes I mess with CWS as well.I wrote a piece in my blog which I reckon may not be very technically savvy but may be understandable.

Thanks for answer. I know that LiveReports can be called via CWS well, but for now I interested in calling Webreports. In fact my question is "is it legal" to use lapi.jar version containing "LAPI_WEBREPORTS" class"?. May be there are some restrictions from OpenText concerning webreports licensing? But for now Resonate KT is the part of OpenText.
