Modify document for WebServices

hi all!
I have a document in CS. For example, with id Object 123.
This document have a category associate with metadatas filled.
Well i wanna know how can change the document without modify the metadata?

Anyone know this?

If by "change the document" you mean change itscontent then what you want to do is add a new version. The new version will then have/be the default content for the document.

To do this in Content Web Services you call theaddVersion method of DocumentManagement. The documentation for that method mentions that by passingnull as the metadata for the new version no changes are made to existing metadata.

Its kind of against proper DMS underpinnings what you are asking.Is it possible perhaps...but I doubt if OT will tell you a supported method.Why wouldn't you want a version is it space?
