Retrieve links available Custom View

, in Enterprise Workspace there are 4 Folders and 1 Custom View. For the Custom View, a HTML is associated containing links to the 4 Folders.For a normal user, on login to livelink, the user is able to view only the links available in the Custom View and 4 Folders are not displayed individually. Note that for the Custom View and the 4 Folders the option is set as List as per below screenshot in the Enterprise Workspace. Note that all the folders have See and See Contents Permission checked. In the above mentioned scenario, on executing a SearchService webservice call with criteria as OTParentID as 2000, the SearchService retrieves only 1 record which is related to the Custom View. The other 4 folders which are available in the Enterprise Workspace are not listed. On trying to create a similar record(s) in our environment, the SearchService retrieves all the 5 records [4 Folders and 1 Custom View]Please let me know the setting based on which the records are not retrieved when queried using the SearchService webservice.
