Assigning permissions to attribute

Hi

I am creating an attribute to be used in category and Forms and want it to be accessible(edit and create) by only few users. Rest users will only have view rights to it but may not be able to modify it. Need help on how to implement it.

Hi Girish,

 

In professional services Germany we already created a module that is able to do that and more.

It may make more sense to use that instead of developing something yourself. It also comes with maintenance, so no need to worry about upgrades.
