A client is looking to store archival videos within their OTCS 10 installation storing its archival content in an Archive Server 10.1 instance. Some of the files will be up to 100GB in size, while the majority will be around 2-4 GB. At present, they are sizing a several hundred petabytes worth of storage for this requirement. The ingestion rate will be about 4TB/month.
They do not need to view or edit these videos, merely store them in their records managed environment. I know that a standard Web front-end or a web service method will not be practical for ingestion--so they might look to use some custom OScript handling--but nonetheless, we want to know if there is a limit to the file size ingested. Moreover, since they also are using Archive Server 10.1, would that component provide a limitation as well?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
