If so I couldn't find it. I created a large (100mb) txt file named "lorem.txt" and then ran this (on a CS10 system)...

String myString = Str.FileToString("f:lorem.txt")
echo(length(myString))

I quit at a lenght of 102,942,731

I have only encountered a limit on the length of a constant String. Something like 256, but could also have been 128.
