live report to find all the document inside compound document

We have the requirement where we need to have find all the document inside all the compound document.

There are multiple compond document inside a specific folder. the output should consist of name of the compound documents along with the all its document below it.

A Compound Document is DTREE.SUBTYPE = 136. It acts much like a Folder (Subtype = 0).

You can look for all Subtypes of 136 and then use the dtree.dataid as parentid in an additional JOIN and then get a list of all the documents within.

You could employ two LRs. One Primary to list the Compound Documents and a SubLR that will have a link on each line. Click on the link of a given Compound Doc and the list for that one will show.

Or you could do an all-in-one.

I have used the below query that gives all the document inside the all the compond document inside it

select dt.name,dt.subtype,dt.dataid,dt.parentid
from dtree dt ,dtreeancestors dta
where DT.DATAID=DTA.DATAID and dta.ancestorid in
(select h.DataID from DTree h,dtreeancestors dta
WHERE
h.DATAID=DTA.DATAID
and
SubType=136 and
dta.ancestorid in(
SELECT
h.DataID from
DTree h,
dtreeancestors dta
WHERE
h.DATAID=DTA.DATAID
and
SubType=136
and
dta.ancestorid=##id of folder##
))

But we also need it to be sorted out in the way that the document inside the compound document should be just below each specific CD row .Right now its mixed.

See if this works as you want. The Subtypes can be displayed in whatever way you want.

select dtc.dataid||' ['||dtc.subtype||']' "CompoundID", dtc.name "Compound", dtd.dataid||' ['||dtd.subtype||']' "DocID", dtd.name "Doc within"

from dtreeancestors dtan

join dtree dtc on dtan.dataid = dtc.dataid and dtc.subtype = 136

join dtree dtd on dtd.parentid = dtc.dataid

where dtan.ancestorid = <Folder/ParentID>

order by "Compound", "Doc within"
