ELService.Operation.CannotCreateTransactionElements - Couldn't create transient transaction Element

Hi,

We have installed ELS 10.5 and StreamServe 5.6.1. We have done all the required configurtaion like created a application for StreamServe, imported the document type to the ELS application. But when we try to send a document to content server 10.5(also have Archive server 10.5) from Streamserve, it throws errors. I have attached ot-elib, thread logs and StreamServe logs.

Please advise.

Hi,

the log files don’t show the reason. I believe Content Server logging is disabled:

07/15/2015 08:55:45 Startup script finished. Restoring original log level: Off (2147483647)

Please enable full thread and connect logging in Content Server and repeat the operation, and then review the thread and connect logs.

Please do make sure, you have a valid license configured in Content Server, i.e. that it’s not running in Administration Mode.

The filetrace3-1436955861.out should tell what specifically.

Please make sure you install latest patches of AS, EL (both Services and Module) and at least CS Update 2014-03.

Hello ,
We have installed Content Server 10.5 Update 2015-06 (version 10.5.0.1715) on server.
We have downloaded Archive Server patch: update_1050_2015_01_mswin64, which states that we need to install few ELS patches along with AS patches.

As per AS Patch documentation, Patch - "pat105000108.txt" requires for CS 10.5 Update 2014-03 to work correctly.
Considering we are at higher version of CS10.5 (i.e Update 2015-6), do we need to install patches(pat105000108 & pat105000165) for Enterprise Library?

If we would not be going for ELS patch, we just need to apply AS patch alone, pleae confirm.
It would be great if you could provide us exact patch location to deploy in our environment.

Please advise me.

If you have Update 2015-06, then you need hot fixpat105000609(https://knowledge.opentext.com/knowledge/cs.dll/Open/60756363) for Content Server.

You need the mentioned patches anyways. They are not contained in CS updates.

The patches require CS 10.5 Update 2014-03or higher.

Please follow the instructions in the Patch bundle documentation closely.

We have installed AS patch as mentioned earlier along with both required ELS patches. Although we have not added hot fix for CS10.5.

After adding Patches we tried to run our request however still receiving same error. Further we have captured connect logs where you will be able to see document context generation. (Refer Connect2. log)

Trace2 – Seems Document Context getting created in CS10.5 initially, but post attributes/category apply or facet functionality throwing unknown error.

Connect102 – Not sure if this is related with error or not, but we can see below info in Connect102

“ The following columns in DTreeCore have default values and will not be inserted: GUID”.

Please advise me further.
