Displaying a disclaimer Page after logging in and redirecting to the appropriate page only after the

Hi,

 

We have a requirement to Display a Disclaimer page , after the user logs in to Content Server, or tries to access any item on Content Server, The Page will be available until the user accepts the disclaimer page. Whenver there is a new session with Content Server, this feature should work.

Is there any valid approach to achive  this feature.

Perhaps your requirement is not a strange one.OT introduced a new standalone authentication system called OTDS.Are you using that?perhaps it has an easy way to intercept this without writing Oscript  or are you on old webserver/directory services authentication/livelink manual  methods .If not good old Oscript and good old OT programmers have given you hooks in this object....We have used it in many conditions like yours before but not exactly  so I knew.

The login hook callback object gives modules a chance to get their fingers

into ExecuteWithLogin, by orphaning this object into the module, setting

.fEnabled, and overriding one of the two callback scripts. The two hooks

are GetLoginInfoPre and PrgSessionCreatePost. GetLoginInfoPre is very early 

in ExecuteWithLogin; dftConnection has been loaded (but not connected to), 

and it's been confirmed that we're not currently in the middle of an upgrade.
