cside keep showing error message in source code even after you have fixed it

Hi,

When I compile my module, there may be some errors detected and compile is interrupted. After the errors are fixed and compiled without problem, those error messages are still presented even related code is no longer there. Restart of eclipse do not solve the problem. Is there a way to clear the cache for the error messages? It makes it difficult to check real errors when they are mixed with real error messages.

Hi Doug,

You can clear errors by selecting them in the Problems view and pressing delete. Of course, errors will return if they're still present the next time you compile.

Speaking of which, how are you doing the compile? Are you doing either a clean build (Project | Clean...), or incremental builds? Or are you using Build OSpace/Build Module? The latter two are intended for bootstrapping unloaded OSpaces or Modules, rather than for regular builds, and don't use the Eclipse build system. This might result in problem markers not being cleared properly (as well as other unwanted side effects). Please don't use them for day-to-day compilation.
