Moving documents in CS 10.5 with REST API?

Hi all,

is it possible to move objects in CS 10.5 from one folder/node to another by using the REST API? I just started reading the REST API documentation and I didn't find anything that seems to work (maybe except downloading a document from source folder, creating a new object and version in the target folder and deleting the object in the source folder). Or does exist a HTTP request like "...&objAction=move...." that would work?

Yes, there is a way to move a document (or other objects) with REST:

 

PUT api/v1/nodes/<node id of document>

     parent_id = <id of where you're moving the document to>

 

Note that parent_id is in the payload (the form).
