java class wsbindingprovider is no supported by SAP JVM

hi guys

here i have a tricky issue that we try to call webservcie from SAP netweaver system , which is build on SAP proprietorial JVM 6.1.

if we use below java class WSBindingProvider, during compling SAP will throw out compling errors

we've also communicated with SAP supports, they explained the netweaver follows a so called JAX-WS standard, it does not support  WSBindingProvider .

so in the end , ironically , 'SAP extend ECM by opentext' does not support  SAP netwaver .

i know SAP's technolygy might be too old , however it's still popular,  anyone has experience same issue?  how do you solve it ?

When we were developing RCS to run on Netweaver we did some few things to make JAX-WS work for us.. I asked Radu about this and here is his thought:

Hi Doug,

As far as I can remember,  we have solved this kind of issues, using the standard JAX-WS (with minor changes) deployed by us on SAP-NW.

From an application perspective, RCS worked on NW like on Tomcat…

And more, no changes in the WS programming model was needed by an “RCS application” to run on SAP-NW.

If they are using the native SAP-NW WS stack, they have to accept the SAP rules of writing web services…
