PrgCtx object for another Content Server instance

Dear

Can someone help me on this?

We have two Content Server instances. I would like to get Admin prgCtx object for Instance2 from Instance1 (where I am writing module).

How can I get it? I have CAPICONNECT and CAPILogin objects.

Not sure of what you are planning to do as Instances mean many things if you don't clarify

Is it ServerA and ServerB connected to a common DB and you are writing oscript in ServerA but you want to manipulate something within ServerB?

Because in this case whatever you do on serverA will reflect on serverB by virtue of the common DB

However if your ServerA was on DB1 and serverB was on DB2 and perhaps you want to create a document in server1 to server2?

then sure it is possible you may have to look into DBWIZAPI which allows you amongst many other things to call external databases.

I think I have done something similar because the place where you are coding will actually impart a change in some different system.

but i have done that only to test some stuff.I don't remember anything I did really.Perhaps if you convince the forum on your use case

some more learned people might chime in.
