XMLExport functionality in REST API - cs16

Hi All,

I have been able to successfully code generic search functionality in.Net code, using REST API (with help of this forum actually!).

My next quest is the XMLExport. In cs10x I've been using .Net to send HttpWebRequest using a URL similar to this:

https://<hostname>/otcs/llisapi.dll?func=ll&objId=<nodeId>&objAction=xmlexport&attributeinfo&nodeinfo&versioninfo=current&scope=sub&content=base64&outputformat=xml

However, when I use cs16 REST API I mentioned above, the response does not have the binary data I expected, it's an error page instead, see below (just the first few lines).

Has anyone succesfully implemented this in cs16? If yes, any help would be greately appreciated.

Hi Eugene,

The ll request handler has not been extended to accept a REST auth ticket, so that’s not going to work. You’ll need to pass a valid llcookie to be able to issue that request. The Search XML API was specifically altered to accept a REST ticket for convenience.

The CS REST API does not have XML Export functionality, at least at this time.
