weblingo and Workflow attributes

Hi All,

Does anyone know if it is possible to get the values stored in a wf's attribute directly in a weblingo file?

If yes, could you tell me the syntax of the command?

To explain a little better my issue, I am using Blazon's publish task to render in PDF some documents, further more I need to merge more than one file in a single PDF. This option is only valid if we choose a remote destination folder, unfotunately the name of the destination file is a constant so all the PDF files would have the same name. So to solve this issue I would like to pass the name of the destination file via coding and to do so I need to set the blazon's text input with a WF attribute vale.

Not sure what Blazon is but a WF attribute is found by initializing a work data structure with workid/ subworkid. Usually the structure has 4 elements element 3 is for attributes.

if oscript is new to you have a look at LAPI/ CWS documentation to how that is located.If you write a piece of client code and put the debugger in the correct place you can locate it

in my pws link I have plenty of oscript snippets and from memory I think I have a function that shows the current values of attributes

if you have ever written an event script the work is passed to you if not you will have to create the work handle that is all. XML WR extensions can also

show you the values based on xml parsing.

A weblingo can contain OScript code, so you should be able to do all you need there, although its usually better practice to add large / complex OScript to the module layer rather than the WebLingo layer.
