Synchronization Sources using LAPI

Can Synchronization Sources functions be scripted with LAPI? I have 10 different sources to sync inwhich I have to do in a step by step process. I would like to script an api to run the sync instead of manually kicking each off after one completes. I don't want to use the schedule, sometimes one will run longer then normal. I am running 9.7.1.

OOB LAPI has no ability to run Directory Synchronization commands.the actual command in your version is run by agents(agents 2001 starting) or by RequestHandlers (?func=directory.syncStatus&dirSourceID=DSConfig_001).The RequestHandlers are web POST that can be mmicked using WebReports.

LAPI can be extended to do what you need to but I wont recommend it because LAPI has been deprecated by OT.

If you did not know this OT has a product that replaces CSDS and it is mandatory on newer verions called OTDS.

I could not understand whay you said your sources had to be done in a step by step process.Could not each process be assigned to an agent?
