create users via OTDSWS

Hi All,

Does anyone know if it is possible to create users inside an unsynchrinized OTDS partition?

In the past we could create users in CS via the member service web service, now with CS 16 we are forced to use OTDS, internal or external, so the question is, can we still create users and groups via a webservice call?

Yes. Take a look at the available methods under the User tab of theREST API documentation on OTDS for creating users. You should be able to find one for groups too.

I agree. You can leverage the OTDS REST API to create your users. Docuementation can be found on OpenText Developer forums(https://developer.opentext.com) or the swagger documentation delivered with your OTDS Server(for example http://OTDSserver:8080//otdsws/api/index.html).
