Widget to show subitems of a specific location

For customers having the WebReports License we use the WebReport HTML View to display the subitems of a specific location.

The Shortcut Widget does only list the shortcut in an oversized widget.

First thought was to implement a widget similar to the default "Favorites" Widget and adapt it to show the subitems of a specific location.

Is there any other example / source how to define a widget that is showing subitems of a specific location for customers without WebReports License?

What you can try out is this –

Create a WR using the templatewidget_nodeslist_nodestable. It’s one of the newly added dropdown option.
Set the data source as your intended folder for this WR.
Map this WR to a WR widget on your perspective.

You should now get the widget to display all the sub items of the specific location.

For customers that have a license for WebReports we will use the WebReports Widget to list the subitems.

But in this case the customer does not have a WebReprots license and therefore we need to implement a custom widget to show the subitems of a location.
