Could you please provide more information about the helpbutton2 example:

pages/start/impl/navigationheader/cells/helpbutton2/impl/helpbutton2.view

Does this view implement a second HelpButton, which can be customized with a specifc URL , e.g. pointing to specific Help Pages?

Our client has lots of customer specific help pages which should be avaiable preferably from the Global Navigation Menu.

We do not offer an extension point for the Help Button yet. It means, that you cannot override its behavour, or direct it to a fully custom URL. There were some discussion abotu it, but we haven't planned any help customizability or context help feature so far.

The code, which you refer to (pages/start/impl/...), comes from csui sources - it starts from "lib/src/csui/...". There are no examples there. It is a debuggable version of csui, which you can use, when you debug your application. Extensibility code samples are located in "samples/...".

If you want to show a different help page, you can override the origin of the OT Help Server, which is "http://docsapi.opentext.com" by default, and point it to your server. The administration page is "?func=admin.smartui". However, the URL gets only the list of installed csui extensions; no additonal context.
