Is it a possibility to have document preview available directly in the browser? For example, emails?
I'm not sure, what you mean by document preview.
If you mean the document thumbnail, it is displayed in the Properties dialog. You get hyperlinks like ".../app/nodes/12345" in e-mails. They point to the document perspective (page), which shows Properties on the whole page. This is the behaviour of CS 16.0.
In CS 16.2, if you click on a document link in an e-mail, we show Document Overview instead of Properties. It is simplified for efficiency. It shows the thumbnail with basic properties and the most usual actions (Open, Download, Properties).
If you mean CS Viewer, there is no link for opening it directly. Once you see the Properties (or Document Overview) page, you click on the thumbnail (or on the Open button) to open CS Viewer. If it is configured for the particular document type, of course.
Thanks for the reply. According to Content Suite Viewer documentation, email preview is not available. This is specifically what we are looking for. At this point I think you have answered my question though. Thanks again.
