Attributes Extension Module in web service

Hi all,

We have a question related with Attributes Extension Module. We already installed the module into OpenText Content Server. Can we use the web service to read or insert values into concerned attributes? Or we need to create a custom web service to call the functions from sdk part?

OOB WSAPI will be able to send/update the Attribute so long as you obey the valid values criterion.I tested this aspect using a simple client snippet.When I sent a bad value it checked and send me a soap error.The A D N Table Key Lookup however took any value I sent and was completely forgiving.I am pretty sure if you look in the category definition you may be able to see the query that runs to show the users the valid values.I did this on a 10.5 system.
